The St. Augustine’s Past Students Union (APSU) commemorates an extraordinary milestone of 90 years of existence, marked by resilience, dedication, and a commitment to the values instilled at St. Augustine’s College. Founded to unite and empower alumni, APSU has grown to become a pivotal force in advancing the legacy of the college while fostering strong bonds among its members worldwide.
On August 26, 2001, APSU reached a historic moment when delegates at the National Congress adopted the union’s initial constitution, laying the framework for an organized and purpose-driven alumni body. This constitution underwent further revisions on March 16, 2012, and March 15, 2013, reflecting APSU’s adaptability to evolving needs while staying grounded in its founding principles.
To mark this remarkable journey, APSU launched the book “Conquering with Perseverance,” which documents the college’s rich history, enduring values, and achievements. It serves as a beacon of inspiration, reinforcing the motto “Omnia Vincit Labor” (Perseverance Conquers All) and highlighting the transformative role of APSU in shaping lives.
APSU’s contributions to education, mentorship, and societal progress are testaments to the enduring power of alumni unity. The 90th anniversary is not just a celebration of the past but a renewed commitment to building a brighter future for the Augusco family and beyond.
