Augusco Goes Final For 2024 NSMQ

St. Augustine’s College (Augusco) has consistently proven itself as a powerhouse in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), a prestigious academic competition in Ghana. Known for its tradition of excellence in STEM, Augusco has left an indelible mark in the contest, winning the championship in 2007 and 2019. Their performance reflects not only their academic rigor but also the strength of their alumni and school spirit.

In 2024, Augusco reached the grand finale, showcasing exceptional performance throughout the stages. They dominated their opponents in the one-eighth stage, quarterfinals, and semifinals, with impressive scores, especially excelling in rounds requiring speed and accuracy. Notably, their semifinal victory secured their spot in the final three, alongside Mfantsipim School and Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO). The finale was a nail-biter, with Augusco leading at multiple stages, ending round four with 46 points—two points ahead of Mfantsipim. However, in the decisive riddle round, Mfantsipim edged past them by a single point to claim victory​
